The Washington Wizards announced that forward Markieff Morris will miss significant time due to both upper back and neck injuries.
The 29-year-old player suffered injuries playing against the Los Angeles Lakers on December 16.
This season, Morris is averaging 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists, while shooting at 43.6 percent from the field.
