Real Madrid were unstoppable from the opening tip and dominated Baskonia on the road (74-91).

The “Whites” ended the first quarter in front by 14 (12-26) and never looked back.

The Basques didn’t play well on both ends of the floor and the visitors comfortably retained their double-digit lead (35-47, 48-74) to cruise to an easy win on the road.

Trey Thompkins led the winners with 19 points, while Facundo Campazzo (10 assists) and Santiago Yusta scored 15 points apiece. Walter Tavares made a double-double, with 14 points and 10 boards.

Marcelo Huertas had a game-high 24 points for the losing squad, with Shavon Shields posting 12. Tornike Shengelia got injured during the match.

Real Madrid improved to 11-3, whereas Baskonia dropped to 10-4.
