Olympiacos played excellent defensively and forced Barcelona to a season-low 60 points to claim a big victory on the road (60-69).

It was a close game in the first half, as both teams were struggling offensively (14-17, 30-32).

The “Reds” started the third quarter on a 5-15 run, though, and quickly took a double-digit lead (35-47).

Since then, things didn’t change much, as the Catalans couldn’t turn things around.

Consequently, the visitors retained their lead to 8-10 points and never looked bak.

Nikola Milutinov was tremendous for the winners, with 18 points, 14 rebounds and a PIR of 36. Vassilis Spanoulis added 14 points, on 5/13 shooting.

Victor Claver (13 points) and Pierre Oriola (10 points, six boards) were the best players for the losing squad, but couldn’t give their team the win.

Olympiacos improved to 8-5, whereas Barcelona dropped to 6-7, as they suffered their fourth straight loss in the EuroLeague.
