The last club for which he played was Polish side Zielona Gora, while he was a member of Anadolu Efes, Banvit, Partizan NIS, Krka, Škofja Loka and Parklji before that. In 2017, Edo Murić won the gold medal with Slovenia national team at the EuroBasket.
Given that he had already been playing in the ABA League for Krka and Partizan NIS, Edo is well-familiar with the environment. The last season that he spent playing in the ABA League was the 2015/16 season, when he averaged 10.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists playing for Partizan NIS in this competition.
“He is the Slovenian international with the experience of playing in the ABA League. Perhaps he hasn’t had lots of luck in the past seasons playing with several different teams, but for sure he is a reinforcement for us and I expect him to contribute fully very quickly,” Cedevita head coach Slaven Rimac told after his arrival to Dom sportova.
