A 26-13 run in the third quarter helped CSKA Moscow cruise to an easy victory over rivals Khimki at home (88-74).

The hosts had control of the game from the beginning (24-17) and ended the first half in front by nine (49-40).

CSKA were unstoppable in the third quarter and outscored Khimki 26-13 to extend their lead to 22 and never look back (75-53).

The visitors, who played without their leaders, Alexey Shved and Anthony Gill, couldn’t turn things around and only managed to cut the deficit to 14 at the end of the game (88-74).

Five players scored in double figures for the winners, with Daniel Hackett leading the way with 14 points, on 6/8 shooting.

Stefan Markovic had 18 points for the losing squad, as Malcolm Thomas and Jordan Mickey posted 15 and 14 points, respectively.

CSKA Moscow were victorious for the 10th time in the season (10-2), whereas Khimki suffered their eighth defeat (4-8).
