According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the New York Knicks and guard Allonzo Trier agreed to a two-year, $7 million contract with a team option for the second year.

Despite the fact that Trier was one of the top scorers in college basketball, he was undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, but quickly signed a two-way contract with the New York Knicks as an undrafted free agent.

This season, the 22-year-old player is averaging 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, while shooting at 47.0 percent from the field.
