In an offensive show in Spain, CSKA Moscow defeated Real Madrid (88-93) and handed the “Whites” their second straight loss in the EuroLeague.

The Muscovites were unstoppable from beyond the arc (15/26), yet the defending champions went on a 21-14 run in the second quarter to end the first half in front by three (41-38).

The visitors came back, though, and outscored their opponents 20-29 to take a six-point lead, after 30 minutes in the game (61-67).

Since then, it was a close game between the two powerhouses, with the Russians standing tall and escaping from Madrid with a big win (88-93).

Cory Higgins had a game-high 24 points for the winners, as Will Clyburn and Nando De Colo scored 18 and 15 points, respectively.

On the other hand, Facundo Campazzo posted a team-high 23 points for the Spaniards, with Rudy Fernandez adding 18 points.

CSKA Moscow improved to 9-1, whereas Real Madrid dropped to 8-2.
