Danilo Nikolic scored the game-winning shot, with 5.4 to go (93-92), and Buducnost handed CSKA Moscow their first defeat in the EuroLeague.
Cory Higgins missed the two-pointer at the buzzer and the hosts made the surprise and upset the visitors.
The Muscovites were dominant in the first half (35-49), but Buducnost exploded in the third quarter and outscored their opponents 30-18 to cut the deficit to two (65-67).
Since then, it was a close derby, with the hosts standing tall in the end and claim a historic victory.
Earl Clark had a team-high 18 points for the winners, with Nemanja Gordic adding 17 and seven assists. Nikolic finished the game with 14 points, on 4/7 from beyond the arc.
On the other hand, Nando De Colo posted a game-high 19 points for the losing squad, as four more players scored in double figures.
Buducnost was victorious for just the second time in nine games (2-7), whereas CSKA Moscow suffered their first defeat in the competition (8-1).
