Baskonia announced they parted ways with head coach Pedro Martinez, with Velimir Perasovic taking over the team.
The Croatian coach returns to the club for a third time (2005-2007, 2016) and will attempt to lead the Basques to the Final Four, just like he did in 2006, 2007 and 2016.
Coach Martinez was let go following Baskonia’s defeat to Buducnost on the road (99-84). The Basques are now 11th in the standings, with just two wins in seven EuroLeague games (2-5).
