Khimki announced that the team’s undisputed leader, Alexey Shved, will miss the match against Real Madrid (15/11), due to illness.
Shved is on top of the scoring and PIR list in the EuroLeague, with 25.8 and 24.2, respectively. The Russian guard will be sidelined in the competition for the first time in two seasons.
Khimki has made a poor start to the season, with just one win in six matches (1-5), whereas Real Madrid is undefeated (6-0).
