It seems that Carmelo Anthony will not play again for the Houston Rockets and will part ways with the team.

Per Tim MacMahon of the ESPN, the team has decided to let the 34-year-old power forward go and Anthony can be waived as soon as Monday.

The 10-time All-Star has played in 10 games for Houston so far, averaging 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds, while shooting at 41% from the field. In most of these 10 games, Anthony has come off the bench.

The 34-year-old player has not appeared in the last two matches of the Rockets, due to illness, while he will not play against the Denver Nuggets as well.
