In the return of Carmelo Anthony to Oklahoma City, the Thunder rallied past the Houston Rockets (98-80) and maintained their run (7-4).

Paul George had a game-high 20 points, along with 11 rebounds and six assists, for the winners, who played without Russell Westbrook. Steven Adams also posted a double-double (19 points, 10 boards) for OKC.

On the other hand, James Harden scored a team-high 19 points for the losing squad, while he also grabbed eight rebounds and dished five assists. Clint Capela contributed 17 points and seven boards.

The hosts took control of the game from the opening tip and closed the first half in front by 14 (59-45). Later, the Thunder led by as many as 25 points and claimed an easy victory, as the Rockets were unable to turn things around.

OKC improved to 7-4, whereas Houston dropped to 4-6.
