After the revocation of Maroussi BC’s licence to play in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds, a resulting open place in the Eurocup Regular Season has been assigned to another Greek team, PAOK BC of Thessaloniki, Euroleague Basketball has announced. All except the two winning teams of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds.

All except the two winning teams of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Qualifying Rounds have places held for them in the Eurocup Regular Season. With the revocation of Maroussi’s licence, one of those Eurocup Regular Season places became vacant. That is the place being awarded to PAOK, which had previously been assigned to the Eurocup Qualifying Round.

Now that PAOK has moved up to the Eurocup Regular Season, its place in the Eurocup Qualifying Round spot will be filled by Galatasaray Café Crown of Turkey. The Eurocup participation of both PAOK in the regular season and Galatasaray Cafe Crown in the qualifying round will be confirmed once they submit all the necessary registration documents.
