LeBron James and the LA Lakers endured the Portland Trail Blazers comeback and claimed the victory on the road (110-114).

The “King” had 28 points and seven assists for the winners, with Rajon Rondo coming close to the triple-double (17 points, 10 rebounds, six assists).

For the Blazers, Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum scored 30 points apiece, with Jusuf Nurkic adding 14 points and 13 boards.

It was a close game in the first half (57-56), yet the visitors outscored their opponents 16-32 in the third quarter to take a 15-point lead (73-88).

But, the hosts came back and went on a 37-26 run to cut the deficit to four (114-110). However, they ran out of time and were defeated.

This was the fourth win in nine games for the Lakers (4-5), whereas Portland suffered its third loss in the season (6-3).
