Fuenlabrada defeated Barcelona at home (79-73) and handed the Catalans their first loss in the ACB (6-1).
Thanks to an 11-2 run in the last five minutes of the game, the hosts took a seven-point lead and sealed the deal (73-66), as the visitors couldn’t come back.
Luka Rupnik had 15 points for the winners, with Marko Popovic adding 11 and Pako Cruz 10. On the other hand, Thomas Heurtel scored 14 points for the “Blaugrana”, as Pierre Oriola and Kyle Kuric posted 12 apiece.
This was the third win in seven games for Fuenlabrada (3-4), which came closer to the play-off zone in the Liga Endesa.
