The Boston Celtics endured the Milwaukee Bucks comeback (117-113) and handed their opponents their first loss in the season (7-1).

Kyrie Irving had a team-high 28 points, along with seven assists for the winners, with Gordon Hayward adding 18 and five assists. Al Horford posted 18 points and eight assists for Boston.

On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 33 points for the losing squad, with Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon contributing 16 points apiece.

Boston had control of the game in the beginning (23-16), yet Milwaukee managed to cut the deficit to two at halftime (55-53). The hosts played very well in the third quarter and extended their lead to 15, thanks to a 38-25 run (93-78).

The visitors came back, though, and outscored their opponents 24-35 to cut the deficit to four (117-113). But, they ran out of time and, consequently, they were defeated.

This was the sixth win in eight games for the Celtics (6-2), whereas the Bucks saw their undefeated record come to an end (7-1).
