Slovenian prodigy Luka Doncic had his best NBA game so far, but it wasn’t enough for his side against the San Antonio Spurs (4-2).

Doncic poured 31 points on the Spurs, making 4 out of 6 three-pointers on the way to becoming the top scorer for the Mavericks (2-5). In addition, he dished 4 assists and grabbed 8 rebounds.

But it was the Spurs’ new signing DeMar Derozan who led all scorers with 34 points and celebrated the win 113-108 in San Antonio.

Six Spurs members finished the game with double digit scoring, while the Mavs had just three players with 10 or more points.
