The Bulls waived Omer Asik

The 32-year-old center Omer Asik was waived by the Chicago Bulls. He had $11 million left for this and $3 million as a guarantee for next season on his contract. The sum will be stretched over the next three years.

In the 2017-2018 season, Asik was acquired by the Bulls after the trade with the New Orleans Pelicans. On September 2018, the player was ruled out indefinitely with inflammatory arthritis.

During his eight seasons in NBA, Asik averaged 5.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 0.6 assist per game, while shooting at 52.8 percent from the floor.
