Panathinaikos made a great performance offensively and decimated Gran Canaria (102-87) to earn their second victory in the EuroLeague (2-1).

Gran Canaria made a better start to the game (6-12), yet the “Greens” came back immediately and closed the first quarter in front by seven (21-14).

Panathinaikos’ coach, Xavi Pascual, saw his players execute very well on the one end of the floor (29 points in the second quarter) and extend their lead to 14 points at halftime (50-36).

Gran Canaria tried to turn things around, but the six-time EuroLeague champions played solid and dominated their opponents (74-55, 102-87).

Lukas Lekavicius and Keith Langford scored 16 points apiece for the Greek giants. Ioannis Papapetrou added 15 points and seven rebounds.

Christopher Evans and Marcus Eriksson had 15 points apiece for the Spaniards, who lost for the second time in three games in the competition (1-2).
