One week after their loss to Baskonia at home, Zalgiris Kaunas responded and easily prevailed over Anadolu Efes in Istanbul (79-93).

The Lithuanians outscored their opponents 13-27 in the second quarter and closed the first half in front by 14 (32-46). The visitors extended their lead to 20 points at the end of the third quarter (48-68).

Anadolu Efes tried to respond, but Brandon Davies and Leo Westermann sealed the deal for Zalgiris.

The American center and the French guard led the winners in scoring, with 18 and 17 points, respectively. On the other hand, Krunoslav Simon had a team-high 17 points for the Turks, as Vasilije Micic and Adrien Moerman scored 14 points apiece.
