Rimas Kurtinaitis, the new head coach of Lietuvos Rytas, was talking about a possible addition of one more players to the club for a while. His plans came true after the club signed point guard Evaldas Dainys till the end of the season.
Dainys arrives from another Lithuanian club Neptunas. 25-year-old was averaging 7.5 points per game in Lithuanian league.
This signing could mean that Marius Prekevicius is no longer wanted at the club. Rimas Kurtinaitis described him as a player "who tends to make mistakes".
Prekevicius appeared on the court only in one Eurocup game for Rytas since Kurtinaitis was appointed as a head coach. Though his only appearance lasted a little bit over 1 minute.
