As seven times before ESPN announced their ranking of NBA top ten players of the upcoming season. In the first place for the eighth time in a row is the Los Angeles Lakers member LeBron James, despite the fact that: “LeBron hasn’t won an MVP award since 2013, his playoff dominance has been a different story” (ESPN.com).

In the second place is the Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry who won NBA MVP award twice. In the third place is the Houston Rockects player James Harden who is a current NBA MVP.

Other players successively: Kevin Durant from the Golden State Warriors, Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks, Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans, Russell Westbrook from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kawhi Leonard from the Toronto Raptors, Joel Embiid from the Philadelphia 76ers, Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.
