Baskonia’s forward, Shavon Shields, got injured during Denmark’s victory over Belarus in overtime (98-94) in the 2021 EuroBasket pre-qualifiers.
The 24-year-old player was unstoppable, with 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists. However, he now has to deal with an ankle injury.
Shields returned to Vitoria for further medical examination, as the start of the new EuroLeague and ACB season is less than a month away.
