Andrew Lopez reported that the 34-year-old former NBA player Sasha Vujacic might join the New Orleans Pelicans team as a two-time NBA champion had a try-out with the team.

Last season Vujacic played for Auxilium Torino in Italy and in EuroCup averaged 12.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.

Despite the fact that during 2017-2018 season Vujacic was one of the team’s leaders he will not return to Auxilium Torino as the the new team’s coach – NBA champion Larry Brown – hasn’t found the place for him.

Sasha Vujacic played in four different NBA teams – the Los Angeles Lakers, the New Jersey Nets, the Los Angeles Clippers and the New York Knicks. During his career in NBA Vujacic averaged 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
