Olimpia Milano combo guard, Mike James, talked to the team’s official website and referred to the way he competes on the floor, his former team, Panathinaikos, as well as his time in the NBA.

On his playing style: “I kind of play like every night you have to show somebody something. In a business like this, it’s a ‘what have you done lately’ business. You have a good year and then in the next year you kind of go down a little bit, then people are going to think you are starting to go down. I try to keep that attitude. Try playing hard every night and just competing.”

On playing for Panathinaikos: “I had a good time. It was a blessing for me to play for the club, due to the team’s history and culture. We won two league titles and it was good for me, I enjoyed it.”

On moving to the NBA: “I was a bit disappointed, but knew that something had changed. As far as I am concerned, I played well, I have no regrets whatsoever and I think it was something I had to do and I am satisfied with that.”
