CSKA Moscow announced to start the week that it had signed forward Alec Peters for one season. Peters (2.06 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Phoenix, where last season he played in the NBA with the Suns first and then in the G-League with the Northern Arizona Suns, averaging 17.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 35 games. He is still pending the medical tests with the club.

Peters played college ball in Valparaiso from 2013 to 2017 and he was then drafted by the Suns with pick 54 in the second round. He made his debut in the NBA but after 20 games he was sent to the G-League. This will be Peters’ first experience in Europe, therefore making his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with CSKA.

“I love the opportunity to become a part of such a prestigious and famous club as CSKA Moscow.” Peters said. “I want to thank for the trust of the coaching staff and management, who that my style of play will suit the team.”
