Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, spoke with the ESPN about the No.3 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Luka Doncic.

Doncic was selected by the Atlanta Hawks and was immediately traded to the Mavericks.

Kuban said the 19-year-old guard was their top pick in this year’s draft, adding that everybody in the organisation thinks Doncic has the potential to become a franchise player.

“He was the top player on our board. If you think he’s a game-changing player for you, a franchise-changing player, you don’t care about your next pick. You just want that player,” Cuban stated about Doncic.

Dallas’ owner mentioned he is not inclined to put too much pressure on the young Slovenian, yet he thinks Doncic should improve his athleticism and physicality.

“We’re excited that we got him. He’s just got to get stronger and a little bit more physical for our game, but he’s got all the opportunities right in front of him to be amazing,” said Cuban.
