Cleveland Cavaliers had their opportunity to win Game 1 but Golden State Warriors drew first blood in this year’s NBA Finals with a 124-114 win after overtime.

After a missed free throw, JR Smith collected the offensive rebound with less than four seconds remaining, but instead dribbled the ball out, which forced overtime, leaving all Cavs players confused.

From there, Golden State edged their familiar Finals foe in overtime to take Game 1.

Stephen Curry had 29 points to lead the Warriors. Kevin Durant added 26 and Klay Thompson had 24.

LeBron James exploded for 51 points for Cleveland.
