Ahead of their upcoming EuroLeague playoff series against Panathinaikos, Real Madrid have been hit with an injury blow but one man is nearly ready for action with local media speculating that Sergio Llull could return for game three in the Spanish capital.

Real coach Pablo Laso has stated that Llull will not travel with the team to Athens for the opening round of games against Panathinaikos but though not hinted, media are saying that Llull could be in line to make a surprise return for game three.

“(Sergio) Llull is feeling much better, but he will not travel to Athens,” said Laso in a short answer during the team’s media day.

However, one player missing from the team’s trip to Greece was crafty point guard Facu Campazzo who is set to miss the series and maybe the entire post-season.

The Argentina international has a knee injury and will undergo an arthroscopy with no timetable for his return.
