According to Serbian media, both Boban Marjanovic and Jamont Gordon could be close to the exit of CSKA after the departure of coach Dusko Vujosevic.
Both players were personal choices of Vujosevic and it is uncertain if they will continue with the Russian club or not. And while Marjanovic’ contribution to CSKA was rather minimal, Gordon is a cornerstone for the team thus far, averaging 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game in the Euroleague.
In any case, nothing will happen before Wednesday and the key game against Panathinaikos in Moscow, according to CSKA president, Andrey Vatutin, who nevertheless did not exclude the possibility of the two players to be replaced:” Before we think about letting any player go, we have to find a replacement first. On Wednesday we play a key match against Panathinaikos and in order to win and maintain our chances for the TOP16 qualification, we need every player available.”
