CSKA Moscow guard and 2016 EuroLeague MVP Nando De Colo admits that he hasn’t ruled out a move back to the NBA.

De Colo never found the success he had in the NBA that he currently had in the EuroLeague. He had spells with the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors from 2012 to 2014.

The Frenchman joined CSKA in 2014, where he has averaged 19 points in his last two seasons, as well as 14.4 points in his first year.

But, while speaking to Spanish media outlet Farhampton Magazine, De Colo is not ruling out a potential move back to the NBA.

The truth is that going to San Antonio was a somewhat complicated decision because I knew I could continue in Europe,” De Colo said. “I had contacts with Barcelona, for example. On the other hand, I wanted to go to the NBA and see how it was. In the Spurs, I didn’t have the opportunities I expected. I think that is a part of life that you can’t control.

“I don’t close the door to the NBA, but for the moment I’m happy in Europe and I prefer to concentrate on the present. Afterwards, we’ll see what happens.”
