Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul signed big man T.J. Cline, who will make his professional basketball debut with the club.
Cline (2.06 meters, 23 years old) arrives from the University of Richmond, where he was named the Atlantic 10 Conference player of the year last season.
He is known for his outstanding passing touch despite his size and position. Cline averaged 18.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game for the Spiders in his senior season and finished his college career ranked among the school’s all-time top 10 in scoring (1,647 points) and assists (374).
Cline is the son of Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman-Cline.
