NBA Draft pick Jonah Bolden is reportedly leaving Crvena Zvezda and joining Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv.

Bolden, who was a second round pick in this year’s NBA Draft signed for the Serbian powerhouse from rivals FMP in June on a two-year deal.

The Australian competed in the NBA Summer League for the Sixers and has expressed a desire to play for the team this season but it seems that Philadelphia don’t have a slot for him on the roster.

Crvena Zvezda have fallen on hard times recently with the vast majority of the team having left, including its head coach. They have had to rely on fans to donate money to the club.

Letting Bolden go will hopefully release some funds for the Serbian side ahead of the new season.
