What was expected to happen, especially after the arrival of Croatian coach Neven Spahija was confirmed today after the club announced the extension of Roko-Leni Ukic contract for the next two seasons.
The player had joined the Turkish champions in January 2010 after a short sting in the NBA and Spahija made it no secret that he wants to build his new team around him.
Ukic was one of the best players in the BBL finals averaging 5.1 points, 4.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game.
