TalkBasket.net received a message from Patmos International basketball agency stating that the General Manager Lior Wilehlem of Israeli second division side Ironi Ramat Gan attacked American players Aaron Brown and Anthony Lee Jr. at the gym on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
Both players did not play in Monday’s game because of injury and salary non-payment respectively. The GM Lior got in their face yelling and screaming for not playing, threw tables in their direction and also pushed both players physically. The video of part of the incident can be seen here.
The agency’s representative stated that “This is completely unacceptable behavior which should be made public. A local attorney in Israel has been retained for the salary non-payment matters which has gone on for months against the Club President Benny Brener.”
