Just when FC Barcelona Lassa seemed to be getting out from the injury hole it had been in the past few weeks, more bad news hit the Catalan team when the club announced on Wednesday that forward Stratos Perperoglou will miss six weeks of action due to injury.

Perperoglou (2.03 meters, 32 years old) got injured this week at team practice on his left leg thigh, and the medical staff of the club estimates his recovery period in a month and a half. So far this season, Perperoglou averaged 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists for Barca in over 20 minutes per game.

Perperoglou is another name in the injury list that plagued Barcelona this season with Juan Carlos Navarro, Justin Doellman, Pau Ribas, Petteri Koponen, Shane Lawal or Victor Claver all missing a relevant number of games.
