As it was announced by the club itself, head coach Nando Gentile decided to resign from Roma after a meeting with the club's president Toti, last night.
As the announcement says Gentile resigned for the good of the club, its players and the personald bond with president Toti. Gentile took the decision following a string of bad results in both Lega A and Euroleague which resulted in fans opposing him.
President Toti hoped that Gentile would remain as head coach until the end but had no choice than to acept the resignation. Former assistant coach Gennaro Di Carlos will be coaching the team until a new head coach is found.
