ImageZeljko Obradovic stated that his team's opponents tonight, Khimki, are in a much better condition now compared to the two times Panathinaikos beat Khimki during the current season and called for concentration for all fourty minutes of the game by his players.

Obradovic' full statement: "It’s a very important game for us, against a really strong team. We’ve played already two times against them, first in a pre-season Tournament in Cyprus and then in the Euroleague first round. I believe that now we are going to have a totally different game, because now they are playing more aggressively. They try to change some things and also they have the home court advantage. The key for us is to play with clear mind and keep our concentration keep for 40 minutes. We have to be focused at both ends of the court and not allow them to play their game."

Panathinaikos captain Dimitris Diamantides also talked about tonight's game: "We expect a very tough game against Khimki. We face a very good team and we have to forget what happened in the first game at OAKA. This game has nothing to do with the previous one, where we thrashed them. Our opponent has improved and it’s going to be a difficult situation. We know that Khimki performs much better on its own court and we have to be very careful and focused throughout the game. In the last couple of games we played in the Euroleague and the Greek League, we’ve committed a lot of turnovers. It’s something that we have to avoid and also we must play hard in defense. It’s the only way to get the win we need, in order to capture the first place in our group."
