Union Olimpija announced the signing of American point gurd Curtis Millage to cover for Vlado Ilievski who has been struck by injuries and is unknown when he will return to action.
Millage was chosen over other candidates. The club was unsure whether to sign another player or not as they wanted to wait tonight's game result against Maccabi Tel Aviv to see if they had chances of making it to the Top16 but Millage was too good to be missed so the signing went on.
Millage played in the Russian Superleague last season with Enisey Krasnoyarsk averaging 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.3 steals in 29 games.
