Fenerbahce couldn’t believe their luck as Barcelona were unable to foul them in the last ten seconds allowing the Turkish side to claim a massive 93-92 win in the EuroLeague.

Tyrese Rice couldn’t get a three-pointer off with ten seconds left as Fenerbahce ran the ball up court without Barcelona fouling. The win gives Fenerbahce a 2-0 start, with Barca dropping their first game of the season.

Bobby Dixon and Kostas Sloukas each had 15 points to lead the winners with Rice leading all scorers for Barca with 19.

CSKA Moscow improved to 2-0 as well after they edged Panathinaikos 81-77 in the Russian capital.

Panathinaikos though will feel that the result is harsh, considering that they led for stages and at time played the better basketball, but the reigning champions posted an 11-0 run late on to finally overcome the Greek side in the final period.

Veteran Andrey Vorontsevich starred with 20 points on 5/6 three-point shooting for the winners and EuroLeague MVP Nando De Colo also scored 20.

Stefan Jovic had 14 points and nine assists, but most importantly came up with the winning lay-up to give Crvena Zvezda a narrow 85-83 win over Galatasaray in Istanbul.

Marko Simonovic led Red Star with 23 points, including four three-pointers as they claimed their win of the EuroLeague season, but the game-winner was Jovic.

Leo Westermann scored a career-high 20 points to carry Zalgiris over Baskonia 78-73 on Friday at Zalgirio Arena.

Zalgiris improved to 1-1 on the season, while Baskonia slipped to the same mark.
