In a short yet sharp statement on Twitter, Khimki have parted ways with recently signed American Perry Jones.
The timing of this departure certainly comes as a bit of a surprise, especially given that Khimki begin their EuroCup campaign tomorrow night at home to Lietuvos Rytas.

Jones originally signed with the team this summer, from NBA D-League side Iowa Energy.
He was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2002 NBA Draft before going on loan to Tulsa 66ers. He remained in the D-League before his move to Moscow.
