Fenerbahce captain Melih Mahmutoglu had signed a new three-year contract with the club, it has been announced.

The Turkish shooting guard has been at the club since 2013 and is currently the longest standing member at the club, despite being only 26-years-old.

A known three-point specialist, Mahmutoglu shot 40 percent from beyond the arc last season, averaging four points in the EuroLeague as Fenerbahce reached the championship game, losing to CSKA Moscow.

Mahmutoglu averaged six points in the Turkish league last season, as well.
