Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry talked about what he knows about the team now compared to when they started 0-3 after last night’s 120-100 home win vs. the Miami Heat (6-game winning streak).
(via Let’s Go Warriors):
“We built some resiliency. I think (a) six-game win streak’s nice, but the fact that we’ve done it a lot of different ways and the idea of the Laker game, Phoenix game, even tonight that first three minutes, four minutes, whatever it was… we’ve not gotten down on ourselves when you have rough starts. And that’s the measure of a good team. Can you take teams’ best shots? Can you figure out what changes you need to make? And usually it’s an energy, effort, execution thing, and then you slowly get back in the games. We’d love to have better starts, but just the way that we respond is a great testament to how bad we want to be a great team. We’re not there yet, but this run that we’re on is building a lot of confidence.”
