The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed forward Enrique Freeman to a two-way NBA contract, according to Shams Charania.
Freeman, a 2024 second-round pick by the Indiana Pacers, joins Minnesota after an impressive showing in the NBA Summer League.
In Las Vegas, the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 16.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game while shooting 56% from beyond the arc.
Freeman began the 2024–25 season on a two-way contract with the Pacers, appearing in 22 NBA games and averaging 2.1 points in 8.2 minutes per contest.
Despite limited playing time in Indiana, he produced consistent numbers in the G League, averaging 16.9 points and 9.8 rebounds across 16 games for the Indiana Mad Ants.
His G League production included shooting 53.9% from the field and 34% from three-point range, along with six double-doubles.
Freeman’s signing follows Minnesota’s recent addition of Johnny Juzang, signaling the team’s continued investment in young talent with upside.
