AJ Dybantsa: I’m a big T-Mac guy/Darryn’s a huge Kobe guy

Washington Wizards forward AJ Dybantsa said that he and Utah Jazz guard Darryn Peterson understand the future NBA rivalry being put out there by the media as top 2 picks (Wizards defeated Jazz 92-88 on Thursday during summer league in Las Vegas/Dybantsa had 27 points while Peterson scored 24).

“I mean, I think we both kinda understand. I mean, off the court we’re very cool. He’s not my best friend. We don’t see each other every day, but every camp that we’ve been to. We played [for] USA, won a gold medal. But the media and just the NBA gods are just gonna kinda build in a rivalry. I mean, I seen somebody say, ‘It’s kinda like Tracy [McGrady] & Kobe [Bryant], reimagined.’ I’m a big Tracy guy. He’s a big Kobe guy. So I mean, I guess they’re kinda gonna gas that up. But I mean, I think we’re gonna be playing against each other for a long, long time.”
