Rockets re-sign Tari Eason

Restricted free agent Tari Eason has agreed to return to the Rockets on a fully guaranteed five-year, $81.5 million contract, according to ESPN.

Houston and Eason were close to reaching an extension before last season, but the two sides were unable to finalize an agreement.

Eason instead chose to play out the year and enter restricted free agency, a decision that ultimately resulted in a larger fully guaranteed contract.
