Bradley Beal is entering free agency after declining his $5.6 million player option for the 2026-27 season with the Clippers.

The veteran guard signed a two-year, $11 million contract with Los Angeles during the 2025 offseason, but his first season with the franchise was cut short after he suffered a season-ending hip fracture in November.

Beal appeared in just six games for the Clippers, averaging 8.2 points and 1.7 assists in 20.2 minutes per contest.

He shot 37.5 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from three-point range before the injury ended his campaign.

By declining his option, Beal will now test the free-agent market as he looks to secure his next contract after recovering from the hip injury.
