The Wizards are adding another undrafted prospect after agreeing to an Exhibit 10 contract with former North Carolina guard Seth Trimble.

Trimble spent all four years of his collegiate career with the Tar Heels, gradually earning a larger role before becoming a full-time starter during his senior season.

Despite missing time early in the year with a broken forearm, the 6-foot-3 guard averaged 14.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 24 appearances.

Known for his defensive intensity and athleticism, Trimble enters the professional ranks with a reputation as a reliable perimeter defender.

Improving his outside shot remains a priority after shooting 29.4 percent from three-point range during his time at North Carolina.

The Exhibit 10 agreement gives Trimble an opportunity to compete for a two-way contract during training camp or continue his development with the Capital City Go-Go, Washington’s G League affiliate.

If he is waived before the regular season and spends at least 60 days with the Go-Go, he will also be eligible for the Exhibit 10 bonus.
