The New Orleans Pelicans are adding another undrafted prospect after agreeing to an Exhibit 10 contract with former California forward Chris Bell.

Bell spent three seasons at Syracuse before transferring to Cal for his senior campaign, where he enjoyed the best offensive season of his college career.

The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 14.2 points per game while knocking down 40 percent of his three-point attempts, showcasing his value as a perimeter shooter.

Although he wasn’t known for filling the stat sheet in other areas, Bell consistently proved to be a reliable floor spacer throughout his four-year collegiate career, finishing with a 38.6 percent mark from beyond the arc.

The Exhibit 10 agreement gives Bell an opportunity to compete for a two-way contract during training camp or continue his development with the Birmingham Squadron, New Orleans’ G League affiliate.
