Veteran big man Xavier Tillman Sr. is continuing his career overseas after signing with Turkish club Trabzonspor.

The 27-year-old spent the 2025/26 season with the Celtics and Hornets after beginning his NBA career in Memphis.

Originally selected with the 35th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Tillman played a regular role for the Grizzlies before seeing his minutes decline over the past few seasons.

Last season, he appeared in 30 games between Boston and Charlotte, averaging 1.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in limited playing time.

Tillman now joins a Trabzonspor team that finished 19-11 in Turkey’s top league and has strengthened its roster this offseason with several former NBA players, including Shaquille Harrison and Emanuel Terry.

In addition to competing in the Turkish League, Trabzonspor will also participate in the 2026/27 Basketball Champions League, giving Tillman an opportunity to play on both the domestic and international stage.
